About Me
Sydney Kamel is an actress, singer, and dancer who has trained with the Syracuse University Department of Drama for her BFA in Musical Theater, and she has additionally spent time training at Shakespeare’s Globe Theater in London. She began story-telling at a young age, and since then, she has played a wide variety of roles, including Imogen (Cymbeline), Natalie (Next to Normal), Cinderella (Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella), Cecily Cardew (The importance of Being Earnest), and many more. During her time as a performer, Sydney has gained experience in swinging and understudying, writing original music for shows and albums, and she has performed both on-stage and on-screen. Sydney is a huge believer in doing every small act with immense love and using the arts to lift others up and pursue the betterment of this world.
Apart from the arts, Sydney is a black belt in Taekwondo, a visual artist, a skier, hiker, animal-lover, a bookworm, and a huge music enthusiast (specifically Stevie Wonder, Lauryn Hill, Allen Stone, and The Beatles)!
